Thatch Tiki Bar

Thatch, Portland's newest Tiki Bar, combines the allure of the South Pacific w/ the tradition of handcrafted cocktails & Polynesian PuPu's. Thatch is non-smoking. Patrons can enjoy everything from the traditional Mai Tai to original drink creations such as the Volcano Bowl, served complete w/ flames. Thatch houses some of Portland's Tiki history w/ artifacts from the Jasmine Tree (closed in 2006). Before the Jasmine Tree, these same pieces came from the Kon Tiki at former the Lloyd Center Sheraton. Seven of the large tiki statues throughout where originally at a now closed Trader Vic's. The VIP hut is available for reservations (groups of 10 or more), & features commissioned velvet paintings by local artists the Pander Brothers. Portland's Thatch Tiki Bar will remind you of a visit to an exotic getaway, once you cross the bridge over the pond, you'll be transported to a different world.
